The Matrix always gaslight awakened souls into believing they are incapable of achieving great things. One of the main tricks of the Matrix is to deploy NPC’s to constantly remind you of your failures, casting doubt on your future endeavors.
This is merely a trick to get you out of your position of authority over your own personal journey and to get you on the wrong path that will indeed lead to failure.
But you can break that cycle by being aware of the trap and acknowledging the matrix for what is.
